The ideal RGN for this Prison Nurse job UK must have:
· Full NMC registration & be an RGN with at least 1 year post graduate experience in an low to medium secure units with some exposure to an Emergency setting
· Professionalism (essential for a Prison Nurse)
· Dedication
· The ability to deliver clear and accurate information under pressure
· Good awareness.
· Previous prison nurse experience (desirable but is not essential)
The package for this Prison Nurse role is between £24,000 and £26,000 for 37.5 hours per week on a rota based system. Although rotas are being fully designed so some changes could occur.
